I'm Holly, and Maple & Marlow is my one-to-one grooming studio in Bath, Somerset. I've spent years learning to read dogs — when to push on, when to pause, and how to make grooming something they actually enjoy.
Why I Groom
I started grooming because I wanted dogs to have a better experience than the busy, noisy salons I'd worked in. Somewhere calm, where a nervous dog isn't just another name on the list.
Every coat is different — a curly Cockapoo, a wiry terrier, a heavy double coat — and I take the time to understand what each one needs to stay healthy and comfortable, not just neat.
My philosophy is simple: comfort first, always. A beautiful groom should never come at the cost of a dog feeling safe.
